We are being forced to
face a choice that is perilously approaching a point of no return.
This “mecca of
technology” flowing from the enterprise of power is sold to us as the
way to the future ... a future of milk and honey. As increasing numbers
of our population seriously question that scenario, power is aware ...
yet they still tune us out. Our significant and growing absence from the
voting booths should make them worry. I believe it is beginning to dawn
on them that we are stressed to the limit, suffering severe emotional
burnout, and close to being precipitously explosive. Congress in the
present campaign contribution investigations have all expressed a
concern that we have come to consider the lot of them irrelevant.
Technology has reached
heights that were unthinkable only a generation ago. Still, it has not
yet proven the machine would better our lives. The question Americans
are trying to resolve is, will all this technology eventually better our
lives collectively, or will it serve those in control particularly?
What value does a
computer enhanced car have, if the cost of purchase, maintenance and
repair, rises faster than our pay check?
What value is there in
work reducing home appliances ... if mom has to join dad in the
workplace to pay for them?
What good can result
if mom and pop are too exhausted from work to
pay attention to children left on their own ... deprived of normal
parenting?
The answer is obvious.
Technology has trapped and diminished our lot. Those who created the
dilemma persist in advertising its benefits. Why not. We took the bait.
Who’s purpose is
served by advances in information gathering if our access is strictly
from the software produced solely for us. Walk into a software store and
90% is taken up by games, most of them are the blow-em-up or rip-em-apart
variety. What is missing for us is in-depth data bases that have real
value.
When the time comes
that every student will sit before a computer and focus on a monitor
delivering the lesson, will this be education ... “the glorious future?”
Could we possibly believe lessons will be beneficially formatted, or
will the constraints of power leave their fingerprints all over it?
After all -- we are presently being mutated by the “Chip” so why is it
unreasonable to expect it will spill over into the classroom? That too
“has been done before” with far less sophistication. More likely than
not, access and exploration of truly revealing hard copy (archived books
and documents), will become difficult if not impossible to examine.
Control? You bet!
Eventually, every
means of media information that can be useful for social manipulation,
TV, radio and eventually the internet, will be channeled through a
single source by a singular mind set. It will substantially minimize all
evidence of disagreements we have with power. The incidence of mergers
accruing in media should give anyone cause for concern. If we are
exasperated by the redundancy of the information being delivered to us
today, tired of clicking channels to more of the same, it becomes more
reasonable to predict what the total eradication of honest media
diversity will lead to. “Push Hamburger.”
When our elected (the
closest accessible arbiters for us), those we know to be an integral
part of the power tower are actually conspirators withholding
information ... who else are we to turn to? Media of every sort delivers
short lived bursts of socially essential information. Media of every
sort, in a back handed way, is acknowledging ... what they are doing is
resented by the public. They sort of admit they lack substance. In an
effort to reconnect with the audience, they perform a sole searching act
before us shamefully lacking substance. The side show they have
subjected us to is composed of standard recycled players repeating worn
out scripts. Though they have been programmed to simulate real
controversy important to the people, they never indulge in any
conversation benefiting society. How could they? When was the last time
they walked in the shoes of the working man?
Unfortunately, no
matter who is preaching to us, no matter what style of media it comes
from, the intolerable absence of true social significance can only be
equated to being deliberate omission. To deliberately omit supports the
intent to avoid confrontation, and that supports the notion they are
lying to us. Could everything they utter be a lie? Why have they put us
in a position where we have to expend abnormal amounts of effort
contemplating that question? I can only surmise, the confidence of the
lier has risen to extreme heights and protection from the power tower
has become inherently assumable.
We live in a time of
hostility as never before experienced in the United States of America.
We are just waking up and in the process of recovering our equilibrium.
The speed by which behind the scenes unwholesome changes to our lives
have been implemented ... is being grasped by us. We are awakening to a
corrosive atmosphere that is about to choke the life from us. We are
becoming aware of impending dire consequences to our society. We are
becoming aware our future is at stake. It is no longer a question of how
to make them mend their ways. The task at hand is to end our
capitulation to power and their surrogates ... and scrupulously guard
against its reoccurrence.
This is a crucial time
in our nation’s life. Do we advance as we have in the past toward what
we believed to be an attainable dream, or will this extraordinary
successful experiment, “the United States of America”, be derailed by
technology pushed to the limit by the wrong hands.
The time has come for
us to return the control and thrust of our destinies back to “We The
People,” as it was written and, as it was meant to be.
We have been told to
work within the system to correct the fraud of those within it. When the
impediments altering our future are invented with the aid of a power
corrupted system ... how do we start to work within? Many have tried and
are still doing their best to work with any remaining tools available.
The problem is ... it just can’t happen. Bereft of leaders, all that’s
left to confront are breeders. We must battle this growing cancer of a
mindset obligated to duplicating a lineage adhering to agenda obedience.
To work through an
emerging system that is devoid of original law, requires us to act no
differently than they. We too would become lawless. Is this an
unavoidable dilemma? Read the Declaration of Independence. Imagine
yourself in that position, could you justify their resolve? Should
anyone now be persecuted for attempting to recapture original
determination and action?
This is not a time for
the timid. It is a time for a no-holds barred confrontation with the
usurpers of our future ... our freedom. America was meant to resemble
the image of those who made it great. America must remain the success
story as intended ... success accomplished by “We The People.”
This is a time to act
-- or -- “Forever Push Hamburger“.
