Developing the right questions can appear to be as
frustrating and hopeless as the mayhem ensnaring us. Unfortunately, if justifiable
questions are never legitimately addressed, just cunningly side-stepped to maintain
"power’s control," a verbal crusade to recapture our future could be looked
upon as hopeless.
If we demonstrate collectively
and make certain our growing contempt for government’s hand in downgrading our lives
is "clearly understood" ... what forces, what allies, might we garner in a
campaign to restore our future? Regaining our sense, our right of equity ... must lead the
fray.
Wouldn’t it be constructive --
for all Americans -- if societies basic essential (broad ranging, opportunity permitting,
economic potential) were honestly considered. I just can’t imagine market advantages
being enhanced by developing a race of human drones as prime consumers. Corporations are
in the midst of battling over who controls what part, and how much of the globe.
Isn’t humanity all over the world a part of some corporate market? As this corporate
mindless feeding frenzy escalates, will their all consuming egos come face to face with
the reality that they are killing the market, or has the market long since disappeared
from their view. Are they fighting for a future where a single victor "will rule the
world"? Its been tried before.
Our well earned pride, resulting from
the ability to be self-sustaining through a job well done, a critical element of all
successful enterprises ... is mired in despair for far too many. Social engineering,
incorporating the practice of entrapment techniques, has never proven to be sustainable.
Pride and economic stability are inseparably intertwined.
Pride in one’s heritage and
culture is an extremely possessive characteristic of the human race. History illustrates
the cultural wars it has documented or, in other cases, the economic depravation that
spurred them ... as clear evidence culture and economics are paramount. The
"Chip" cannot replace or impersonate those essentials. Power is trying to
accomplish just that. They believe it could mold an obedient new world. Imperceptible at
first, it has passed the test and is now gathering speed in proportion to greed.
Are we being subjected to a plot that
will eventually alter, or worse, eradicate cultural attachments ... cultural histories? If
so, its effects are already creating a potential fire storm. Increasing economic injustice
is causing increased cultural divisions. Is the worst yet to come? Try viewing television
without being ceaselessly bombarded with the latest riot, the latest affront to justice
(such as the O.J. divide). It goes on and on. Unrest, not love ... dominates the news.
it’s inescapable.
There are glimpses of individuals and
organizations that manage to get a fleeting moment of truth on the tube. Their main issues
concur with the thrust of this book ... economic injustices will eventually trigger an
explosion in America. Why -- I keep asking -- has it been allowed to get to this point?
In 1992, society’s rage
triggered the motivation of an individual American citizen (Perot) to run for president
and address us with the same power as the establishment. He clearly and truthfully
displayed our economic woes, our wrongful job displacements, our corporate contrived trade
agreements and most of all, the selling out of America as we knew it. His truths would not
be allowed to resonate for long. Though it was a valiant try, power’s political
machine went to work and squashed him. He focused on the truth, spent a fortune of his
own, and wound up being smeared and depicted as a fool. Remember, how two established
parties scrambled for the votes of this fools constituency? Interesting! ... they both
wanted the fools that backed the fool. Why? Was there intent to rewire the cerebral
programs of these fools, and more firmly attach them to the chip? It’s something to
think about.
With Perot out of the way, his
innocent notion that "We The People" own the country was successfully closeted.
His confrontational but correct statement -- "You can’t be a Super Power unless
you are an Industrial Power. Look what happened to Russia" ... was silenced and
buried. His conviction that a family should consist of "mother attending to
mothering, father once more capable of being a provider, and children having traditional
supervision" ... was yet another truth the establishment had to eradicate from view.
Is it foolish to imagine we could
have an economy that can hopefully be advantageous to all? Of course not. That era just
was. That is why I praise what was and what it could have evolved into. We should never
concede that the past, particularly our recent past ... has no value in shaping the
future.
Justifiable equality does not
translate to tearing down the rich; They do invest and create work. Then what is the
problem? It’s todays backslide to a past era of distorted worker’s compensation
and opportunity that is trashing our dream. Can we gather together in a way that would
bring reason to bear on power? Can we make them understand it is in their best interest,
as well as ours? Nothing can exist in a vacuum ... "power included." If we could
convince those on high that their air is getting thinner and thinner, they might give a
little, our future might be rosier.
Having depicted "Power" in
generally elusive terms, can a more specific image be created? Unless we can better
identify what or who we are dealing with, talk of economic justice will forever remain
unfulfilled rhetoric.
Where do we start? Suppose we begin
at the bottom and try working our way up to the unknown. "We The People" at the
bottom, increasingly realize, those we hired to speak our mind and respect our bidding
only pretend to notice us. Obviously they cannot be of help in our crusade. Their
defensive tactics would only side-track us. This is not the management we hired to
perform; This is what they have evolved to. It has become their way of life, while
"our affairs, our well being, our futures" are twisting in the wind.
What happens to the verve
electioneering participants display to "gain office"? Ha! -- shortly after
attaining our confidence and office, a metamorphous takes place. Some I believe,
innocently enter a world of unsuspecting complexity and become regretfully snared. Others
I’m sure, want office solely for power and financial gains, and they eventually show
it. Assuming we have a bit of both in government,
who controls them? Certainly "We
The People" don’t control the ones we hired. Not until they require our vote to
retain office, do they again pander to us. If we have lost control, did the money of
"Power" capture control?
The cost of getting elected has grown
beyond reason if equated with their job salary. Voters in total, contribute insignificant
sums of money. Power, "invests" staggering sums ... filtering-in from all over
the world. Make no mistake, those immense sums of money have plenty of strings attached,
strings "investors" will pull. Could anyone believe these investments are
benevolent contributions for social well being? Of course not ... not in all honesty. Then
we must believe the investment is a tool to ensure power’s agenda and our alteration,
to a "Push Hamburger Society."
Left to its own devices, the power of
money will win out. Money, what it can buy, is the start to corrupting our
elected's
obligation. Our conventional understanding of government, "it’s a system of
management responsibilities" not aristocracy. Who would disagree that we put people
in office to manage ... "not to rule." This is America. We! are supposed to be
the bosses. Never lose sight of that.
Proceeding along that line of
thinking, the countless millions of dollars apportioned to get specific people elected to
office, must provide the investors with enormous returns, and enormous advantages. Never
lose the understanding ... the major money invested never came from the balloters.
My research succinctly displayed one
single black-tie fund raising event that snared $9,000,000.00 in a single evening. It was
more like an auction gallery than anything I could imagine. The money investors, according
to the amount offered, either gained an audience with a lowly congressman or were put
higher up the ladder ... up to the President. Can anyone relate that auction-like
atmosphere to any resemblance of intentional beneficence for mankind?
Forging ahead one step further -- who
in particular are those huge sums of money coming from and what might be the reciprocate
advantages. A simplified casual profile, displays manufacturing corporations, service and
economic interests, professional groups, and the most ominous ...the "secreted and
illegal" (that distortable word again) array of foreign conspirators. This
increasingly visible foreign power entrance into the heart of our country -- "the
White House" ... must be looked at with alarm. Advantage is being sought. Has it been
achieved? Lets move up another step amongst the intricate levels of the "Power
Tower."
Corporations, organizations,
governments -- solidify agendas -- merge, grow, diversify, increase control, side-step
rules ... all done in secrecy to hide purpose. Salaries of CEOs are no longer tied to
normal performance assessments. They are receiving enormous benefits, while downsizing
America’s work force, obviously capping worker’s salaries and crippling union
bargaining effectiveness ... all this while the stock market journeys toward the stars.
They have advanced the stock ... "what about the workers?" This happening became
so outrageous it made its way before congress ... much to their chagrin. Artfully handled,
(this inquiry they couldn’t bury) -- resulted in a well staged performance amounting
to nothing ... and then they removed the side-show from the road. It became just another
act to reassure the public, nothing was wrongly occurring. My take on this charade is --
the CEOs
are being paid those enormous sums as
hush money -- to keep their mouth’s shut ... never revealing true agenda.
If the rewards given to top level
management have become so outrageous that government was forced to make a pretense of
investigating it -- what might controlling stockholders, "real owners of
corporations," be reaping ... and how does that fraternity relate to one another?
As we continue questioning and
advancing upward, we are entering a secretive and rarefied world. It’s a world where
Arab nations can create banking advantages in secrecy ... in the U.S.A.. When discovered
and indicted -- they are allowed to maneuver through our legal system -- pay a hundred
million dollar fine ( a trifling sum to power) ... and proceed to reproduce the process
elsewhere. Government criminals finish their prison sentences, then go on to write books
about their crimes. Who says crime doesn’t pay? Senators and congressmen leave office
and still stay attached to their masters. Now they are definitely being paid for advice on
how to tip-toe through the "Rose Garden." It’s now evident which master
they serve.
Still climbing, still asking
questions with an open mind, we must compile fact and impression. If we assume we have
reached a pinnacle in questioning -- if we assume "Power" at the top lives
without reason -- if we assume they are invincible, devoid of weak spots ... we can stop
right here. On the other hand, if we focus our thoughts, review relatively recent economic
growth and combined stability, coupled with rightfully anticipated continuity ( and not
consider it as an aberration) then lets concentrate on how and why it happened.
If the ever increasing outcries of
America’s dissatisfied, consolidating citizenry, were channeled in the right
direction ... we could once again equitably share the wealth of our country.
Before proceeding with part two of
this exploration -- "Connections" -- what practices have already aroused
suspicions ... what connections should be scrutinized? The following short list is a
suggestion of where to begin.
